Physical Description

Primarily white and blue. Body is covered in short blue fur; he's rather fuzzy to the touch. His underbelly and lower snout is covered in white fur, as well as a thick white mane around his head and neck. White plummage on the end of his tail, elbows and ankles match this. He's a 4-digited dragon (a lesser dragon), and has two long black horns that curve in at the top, on either side of these are long elf-like ears which are very thin. Two long white whiskers curl down from behind his nostrils. He is a ying-lung (winged dragon), but when in deep concentration, has the ability to produce a second pair. His wing membrane is a lighter, semi-transparent blue.

Common Attire

Usually he prefers no clothing at all, or his casual dragonfly print robes. He's also commonly seen wearing ceremonial robes and martial arts uniform. He wears a pendant around his neck of the symbol of his ancestor’s clan.

Personality

Shinazz is a very proud and loyal creature, but he has plenty of reason for that. He’s extremely level headed and never loses his cool in a difficult situation. He’s incredibly wise and takes his wisdom to heart by acting as a mentor and advisor to those who seek it. He’s very serious about his family line and duties, his loyalty to his dragon bloodline unbreakable. Shinazz is often reserved, but only because he knows when to speak and when not to. He’d rather observe than socialize and that’s exactly what he does.

Brief History

Shinazz comes from a long line of Chinese dragons, several (including his mother) being that of the imperial family. His father was a shen lung (bringer of rains), which must have been passed down after he was born, because not only does he lack the imperial colour of yellow, but he never grew a 5th claw. He grew from a water snake quickly to what he is now (minus the wings), and was raised in traditional China, watching the country grow and change as his family and way of life remained untouched.

The year his mother passed (she'd had the pearl in her throat stolen), he grew his pair of wings, which soon after he took up Buddhism...a practice his ancestors preformed strongly in. Centuries passed since the death of his mother and he'd become strongly in-tune with his Buddhism, which granted him his signature skill of sprouting a temporary second pair of wings. This has been his anchor to keep a Zen outlook on life, and to be as peaceful as possible...because he strongly believes the wings are a gift for being practical and dedicated.

He currently resigns in China, taking the role of his father as a shen lung, bringing rains every year. He frequently visits America, where he dwells and mingles with such friends and acquaintances as Patchwork, Anubys, and more commonly Rayg.
